It all began as a fairy tale romance – Andrea fell in love with a charming man from a well-respected pastor’s family. But, while pregnant with their son, Andrea’s 9 year-old daughter from her first marriage gathers the courage to tell her mother a dark secret. Admitting his guilt in court, Andrea’s partner is imprisoned, but most of the inhabitants in the small, conservative Transylvanian community openly support him, blaming Andrea and her daughter for fabricating false accusations.

When news of the man’s early release breaks, Andrea decides to pick up the fight against the community’s victim-blaming mentality and the malfunctioning Romanian justice system in order to protect her children and to heal the traumas of the past.

Although after what she experienced Andrea remained silent for a long time, she turns to her former colleague, film director Botond, with her story. Together they create a film as a survival story about fear that turns to strength.
