Masterclass – producer Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė in conversation with Tue Steen Müller. Dagne’s  independent production company JUST A MOMENT (est. 2007) has produced 25 films, both short and feature, documentary and fiction. Her recent titles include In the Mirror (Black Nights FF, 2020), Breathing Into Marble (Karlovy Vary IFF 2018), Core of the World (San Sebastian IFF 2018, Toronto IFF 2018), Nijole (DOK Leipzig 2018, Cartagena de Indias IFF (FICCI) 2019).

Masterclass – director and scriptwriter Laila Pakalniņa in conversation with Tue Steen Müller. Laila is one of the most renowned Latvian film directors. She has directed 31 documentaries, 5 shorts, and 6 fiction features and her films have screened in official programmes at Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, Rome, Tallinn and other international festivals, where they have won numerous awards.

Documentary Consultant Gitte Hansen (Switzerland) looking back at tendencies in documentary distribution in pre-pandemic times and reflecting on how and why the pandemic especially is hurting documentaries when it comes to sales and distribution. Jenny Örnborn, Production Controller at the Swedish Film Institute, is joining the reflections and will tell how the Swedish Film Institute’s Covid-support to Swedish filmmakers includes a special call regarding loss of income from sales and distribution caused by pandemic.
